Cross-Cultural Video
The project CCVideo is an international cross cultural joint venture with students of the Hochschule Furtwangen, Germany.
Eight groups on each side will experiment in a short video clip dialogue and explore the creative means of the medium in the playful way of the surrealist "Chain Games".
Each group of two people will produce four clips as their part of the dialogue. Production time respectively is two weeks. Each group will interact with a partner group in Furtwangen or an fictional german partner. The interim periods will be used for discussions of intercultural matters. Additionally there will be an extra topic for each group that will be elaborated and presented in class.
At the end of the semester there is going to be a presentation at GOETHE INSTITUTE CAIRO / FREIBURGER FILMFORUM and a video conference about the gained insights and experiences together with the students from Furtwangen.
