ICONOCLASM

Prof. Fetzner, N. Stefanka, T. Kess Winter 2009/10

"A cake madly dreaming of a water bottle."

The project ICONOCLSM is an international cross cultural video venture with Egyptian students and students of the Purchase University, New York. Eight groups on each side will experiment in a short video clip dialogue and explore the creative means of the medium in the playful way of the surrealist "Chain Games".

Each group of two people will produce two clips as their part of the dialogue. Production time respectively is two weeks. Each group will interact with a partner group in New York. The interim periods will be used for discussions of intercultural matters. Additionally there will be an extra topic for each group that will be elaborated and presented in class.

At the end of the semester there is going to be a video conference about the gained insights and experiences together with the students from New York.

To join the project please register at NING.
